i can pick this blower up for $300, its an Eaton blower off of a Lighting wit about 35k miles on it and there is nothing wrong wit it. my question is with a custom sheet metal intake will this thing work on my truck and is it worth it? it sounded like an awesome deal and i figured i could get it ported to. im just basically trying to figure out how much work & money ill have into this or if its just gettin in over my head
Thank you for any help

If it will fit then go for it. Get it ported and you almost have a radix blower minus the intercooler setup.
By this i mean it will flow almost as much air as the normal radix.
Not it will magically become one.
Just wanted to clear that up after reading what i posted lol.

ya i kinda figured you didnt mean that lolya thats what im worried about is it not fitting, basically i figured i could have the blower for $300, the intake for probably $1000~, then i assume id need some injectors (wat size??), and i would like to do the intercooler to if i can pick one up for cheap on ebay
im just trying to see if there is anyone running a L blower basically

im sure it can be done but youll have alot into the intake and elbow. thats some fab work, Jay & TJ could get it done but then youll need brackets and etc for the belts and pulleys

there very efficient up to 8lbs of boost which is what there designed for, but when you spin them harder as all lightning owners do in the 15lbs+ range they put out alot of heat, but i wouldnt run one with out an intercooler

It looks taller, you may be needing a hoodscoop.

i figured all in all i could have the whole setup done for about $2500 or so not including you tuning it up Quik... where as if i buy like a radix or something ive seen em going used for ****** $5000
