i need schooled on getting blown LOL

Well I'll put it this way, there are guys with the ford 4.6L engines that have put $3000 into their setups using a $300 stock blower. Those things go on lightning forums for under $500 ALL DAY. It's just all the fab work for ANY engine is a pain in the ***. I think even the stock 5.4L f-150 guys are spending over $2000 to get them to work properly.
Basically the blower is the cheap part, everything else is $$$

Yeah when you think about all the down time of your truck, the hours you spend fabbing **** up. You could have just financed the blower, with time you spend making alot of the **** yourself, you could have just worked some extra hours at your job and paid for a kit that was designed for you truck. Either way there is work involved to pay for the setup. just my 2 pennies

I have one of those blowers, sitting here. Was going to turn into a hand dryer for the bath room.
one day. Any way the cheapest way out would be Hang the unit off to the side and build duct work. Then your down time will be less because you can still drive the truck without having the blower part hooked up.
Just a thought, you will still have some nice coin in the set up but it would be different.

The blower hanging on the side, you do not have to build a one off intake. So you can work on just mounting it, then work on the ducting, inlet outlet etc. then work on the throttle cable stuff, it allow you to work with out being down. Then teh belt system etc, working in stages with no down time.
NO ic, ok just run a water meth set up.
