i need help with my sts

i have a 5.3 with the basic sts set up at 5 pounds and i need help on what to do next. i want to run more boost but am not sure if i should go methanol or better injectors. and what about my drivetrain do i need to work on that? and whats the best and safe way to run more thanks.

I would get the injectors and some type of fuel pump upgrade 1st.
Either an in-line or an in tank pump. People on here have both so its really up to you there.
You will need bigger injectors to run above about 6psi.
How much above 5 psi will determine what you need.
Going to 10psi or above will have to be about 44lb per hour. your stock injectors depending on your model year truck will be maxed out at 5-6psi.
The methanol injection and an intercooler will also be needed above about 6-7 psi to keep your IATs in check.
Others will chime in on this for sure.

Some 44+lbs injectors, a tune, in line pump (like the one from Magna Charger. See blownchevy), and I would suggest a FMIC no matter what you do. Its great to have and it allows you room to grow.

1.) Transmission upgrades - servos and shift kit minimum if you want it to live for long if you have the 4L60E or equivalent.
2.) Performance tune - mail order but dyno or street tune preferred or tuning software.
3.) Bigger injectors - 44# Delphi Multec II Shorties or similar.
4.) Fuel Delivery - New 255lph pump or pump booster.
5.) Intake Cooling - Methanol Injection or Inter Cooler.
6.) Guages - Boost and Fuel Pressure.
7.) Boost Controller - to choose the level of boost you will run.
8.) Traction - Tires, limited slip etc.
9.) Plugs - cooler plugs gapped at 0.035 such as NGK TR6.
10.) Logging Software - if you don't get tuning software so you know that your tune is safe and everything is running as it should.

thanks alot guys. i have the diablo tune what can i really do wit that? . to be honest someone installed the sts kit for me and all i did was pick it up and go home so i really dont know how to tune it with the diablo tune or what i can do with the sts. so ill get some 44# injectors then meth and a boost controller and i can run more? all i want to run is 10 at the most. do i need to change my converter to a yank or differential?
