A single large nozzle should be good. That's what I used with my 2.75 in the summer. Just make sure the nozzle is not screwed on backwards. The screened end attaches to the hose. You almost certainly need more meth(at least 50/50) for fueling with your current injectors and the smaller pulleys. I haven't seen much effect on IATs with meth on a Radix though. It will primarily provide supplemental fueling and allow you to run more timing due to the octane boost.

How much does your IAT go up during a run and does it fully recover?

well today i was running it iat's were at 115*'s and hammered it until i reached 105mph and saw iat's at 150 then i notice that the iat's went to to 145 and stayed there until i got home about 5miles from i hammered it. left to the truck on, opened the hood look to see if i/c pump was working and it wasnt. then i turn off the truck and started back up and worked. so i thinking i might have a short somewhere, where the wires to the pump are connected or the pump is about to give up. But guys what are signs that the radix can be worn out i've only had it for about 2years, about 17,000miles on it.

Mechanically, I highly doubt that it is the radix itself. It might be the pump which would explain the high intake temps. The pump should be running any time the engine/ignition is on. I would def. troubleshoot that.

You're IAT should recover fully if you are just cruising. I'm wondering about my pump as well. Took a look at it a couple of weeks ago and there was barely a trickle. The other day it had full flow??

Its a FORD pump. Enough said. They have a history of failing. Not a large number but enough to notice a trend. I would check the wiring and if its not something obvious then order a new pump and be done. They are not too much $$.

Its not uncommon for the IATs to climb really high on a hard run with the small pulley, so I'd say thats normal. However, they temps should start to fall about 10 seconds after you let off the throttle and be within 10* of where you started in a minute or two.

When first reading this, I though you might be adding too much water. Also, if you are maxxing out the 42# injectors, then I'd say you are probably overly rich. You don't have a cam, so your rpms shouldn't be real high. 12* timing is pretty weak for a Radix truck. If its pinging with only 12*, then you definitely have a tune problem. I doubt you are pulling enough air to MAX out the MAF and really didn't need a SD tune. 96 mph trap speeds mean you probably aren't making 350rwhp with the way its running now.

So... I'd fix the pump, get a better tune, and go lighter on the water injection. Keep it simple. SD tune, big injectors, 3 nozzles, etc... are overkill at this point.

That unit is made to run 100K miles before it needs a check up. You're still breaking it in.

well again today my iats were about 12*'s over ambient which was 85*'s. not bad compared to the other pulley. and only seeing 150*max and drops quick. all i need is to retune with the 3.1 so i can get more timing. im running dual nozzle with straight water and i bottle of heet and seeing around 7.5-8psi of boost at wot. so is that good, and should i say better than the other fire pulley.
