Default i just dont get it

well i went to the track today and ran the same damn time. well it was 65*'s and humidity was at 100%. on the 1st pass i ran the 3.1 pulley (9lbs of boost) 60ft@1.89/ 1/8mile@8.70@77mph and a 13.76@96mph and on the 2nd pass with the 2.75pulley (13lbs of boost) i ran a 60ft@1.91, 1/8mile@8.59@79.28mph and 1/4mile@13.57@96. all with meth and the 3 nozzles. im not improving my times at all. im running the same damn times i ran before with out meth and sd tune. i just dont get it. i think there seriously a problem with the motor. so what could be wrong.

I feel your pain But hte good news is it is not the motor.
I did not see a wide band reading,I think that will be something to read. Sounds like it may be too rich???
Maybe the meth is qwenching the spark-what plugs and gap?
Possible knock retard due to the final compression-what gas are you using?
With a mail order (estimated )tune and no dyno its hard to know where the fault is.
Everything otherwise is a guess.

I am in the same position with my 5.3-just can't seem to break the 14.03.
I am going to get HP tuners like every one else here who is putting down the numbers

Build a intercooler setup for it, you break that 14 sec barrier for sure.

i couldnt say cuz i didnt have any kind of iat's scanner. i would think it would run better with meth and sd tune im about to give up actually. this was the whole point of getting meth and sd tune to improve my times not run the same, all this money down the drained. But guys any possible problems that would cause this. i've been noticing ever since i install the tb stall and went up to 28inch slicks my mph just wont go up. i ran better with stock stall and 26inch slicks. my buddy of mine last night has a ecsb 2001 gmc with a whipple and 7lb pulley and his 60ft was a 2.0 and 1/4mile run was a 13.39@101mph. with stock stall and 26inch slicks.

there could be several things holding you back, but the first thing you need to do is get a way to monitor what is happening on a run. IAT's, A/F, timing/retard, etc. will tell you what is going on, and you don't have a way of monitoring things.

You need to get HP Tuners or similar to do some datalogging, and then you can get things going. Otherwise you're shooting in the dark.

Get scanned. There are about 8,000 people on this board from TX. Find one with HPT of EFI and get a few logs.

Agree with others. You get to a point with hardware that it then becomes all about tuning details. I gained times with my meth injection but it was only after I tuned the best flattest AFR I could with it and pumped up the timing. You cannot do these things without tuning yourself or logging and providing the feedback to the mail order tuners.

are you running 100% meth or any water? monitor you a/f and it might be time for some nice slicks
