im running just washer fluid no heet with the 3.1(9lbs) and 2.75(13lbs)pulley and well i have to sets of slicks both 28x11.5x15 on set are hoosiers drags and the other are et streets i do a bit better with hoosiers but not much maybe .04 thats it. dont know at this point meth isnt working along with the sd tune. i started noticing once i change the stock stall to tbstall and 26's slicks to 28's im losing top end for some odd damn reason i cant get more than 96-97mph tops. i mean im sd tune and 2.75pulley my timing is at 12 do to audible ping so maybe with the 3.1 and more timing but still think i wont run what i want to run. but at this time its pointless to even run untill i know whats wrong.

i dont see why guys with radix, cam, meth and 3.1pulley's are running up in the 20*'s of timing and up in the high 90%'s injector DC with 42lb's, which for me i dont have a cam and their iats' are waaaaaaay lower than mine are i put the 3.1pulley and at wot i saw 150*'s iats and timing at 12, but not retune for the 3.1 and would think that having a cam would generate more heat. i just dont f$#ken get it. so if i put the gt2-3cam and 3.1pulley im i going to see timing up in the 20's also. and what would my dc on 42lb injector's be at with the 3.1 with, 2.75 im at 100%dc

A cam is just going to make you IDC even worse. What those guys are doing is relying ont eh meth to add fuel. Time to go to 60# injectors or just ditch the radix and throw an N/A cam in it and run 13.2s like AP2002 did with a 5.3 in his ECSB with a heavy *** bed cover.

I did a run 2 nights ago. I ran it up to 88mph (No time travel)
My IAT topped out at 131*F
My timing was 17.5* (Thats the max I have it set at)
RPM was 5900 @ 91% IDC (42# Green tops) just prior to the 2-3 upshift

Within 1 minute my IAT had dropped from 131* to 108*
Outside temp was 60*

thats just it they are just using water to cool the intake charge no fuel additives. so by putting the cam and 3.1 i will still need injectors.

You need to put straight methanol in there, it is combustible and will supplement the fuel that comes form teh injectors. Wilde Racing is hitting 11.40s on 42#ers but he has two meth nozzle at full blast to help fuel his motor.
