Default I am sooo pissed......

Hey guys, I gotta vent, When you buy a kit of any type used make sure the person knows what the hell is going on. My truck will be down for upwards of at least a month, because I bought a used kit that was SUPPOSED to fit with very minimal changes. Hmmmm lets see. None of the intercooler piping is even close which is huge cause now I have to fab it all up, which will take me weeks more than likely. The exhaust going out back requires me to put my spare in the bed of my truck which I dont like. It doesnt even look like it will line up even then. I have soo much **** to do that I am overwhelmed......ok going back out to see how much more frustration I can create. ohh yeah I have to run a catch can so there is more money I have to use, something that I didnt know about. CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

Well, I have decided to not use the intercooler, because I dont have enough time or patience to fab all the pipe. I will just come up and in to throttle body. I may go STS intercooled later. The intercooler piping was wayyyyyyyy off from even getting close to the intercooler, I mean if I hacked up the front of my truck, took off all my AC components, then it would have come close. That is not my idea of fun. I live in FL so I need AC. I have almost everything bolted up on the cold side. Still waiting on my hot piping.

the intercooler piping fits. It was on a rcsb. I told you it was not a standard STS intercooler. The exhaust fits too. The spare nees to be removed but that is it. The kit was unbolted and pack the same day. There were no modifications at all. The kit was installed on the truck in 6 hours. I can have the pics of the uninstall once my mechanic gets back.

And not for nothing I do know what is going on. I told you what my setup was and I told you that there would need to be some modifications made. the only pipes that were changed were the pipe on the turbo, where the muffler was installed and the pipe that leads to the intake. I gave you the stock pipe that came with the kit that goes into the intake.

If there are any further problems feel free to pm me and I will help you with them.
And anyone will tell you that when running FI you will always end up putting a catch can on. I bought one from Jegs for like 40.00. They are very easy to put on and they help prevent many problems in the long run.

The kit works and makes power. It did it on my truck and it will do it on yours.
