I currently have a catch can inline with my pcv setup and it has 3/8 fittings on it. I was wanting to put this valve inline with it to make a nice clean look. It is made for air compressors so i figure it will hold up to 15psi.

They can hold over 200 psi, on my old s10 when i had viair compressor i had one of them start leak air for the air tank back into the compressor. It should work but i dont know how much pressure it takes to open the valve. I have a old compressor head with the leader hose and check valve on it if you want it to experiment with it. You can have it for free, it should still be good the compressor it came off of locked up.

I ordered one from McMaster Carr that is similar. 1 psi opening pressure, good to 200 psi total with 1/4npt female on each end. This should work fine, I would imagine.

Yea.. your looking for one that has a really low cracking pressure..

That one might be a bit higher for the air compressor stuff.

Here's some more options from my thread on tech: https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...ck-valves.html

I think I'm going to try the GM one, it has 3/8" hose barb ends.

I've been using this check valve for about a year now works great. Before i used a catch can it had oil in it and didn't affect it what so ever. .5 psi cranking pressure.
