Default how much Vacuum does my truck have?

i am having BOV trouble!!!! i did not have the turbo hooked up at the time i was putting on the tial 50mm, i taped in my brake booster and ran a vac line to the BOV. fired the truck up and i would not open when you rev it up. so i was told to cut the spring. it was a 9psi spring). so i cut a little at a time and keep trying it till it would open up. now i think i cut off to much. because when it is in drive at a stop light i hear a VAC leak. and its the BOV doing it. so i going to get a new spring and going to try a 7psi one.

anyone have this same **** happen?

I have a 50mm BOV also, in neutral, it only goes off above 5k rpms. As long as it operates fine while driving then it should be fine, I would not cut the spring without testing it under load.

I run a 7lb spring in my Tial. I tried 11 and 9 first but it wasn't very responsive with the cam so I ended up using the 7lb spring.

don't ever cut the spring... and like tanner said don't do anything without testing it under load on the street. you shouldn't be "blowing off" in neutral anyways unless you're auditioning for fast and the furious 5

if you want, get a vacuum manifold from Golden Eagle or an equivalent and run that to your BB vacuum line and then every accessory will tie into that. It's alot cleaner and easier than having a bunch of plastic T's throughout your engine bay.

Only a little when I'm at part throttle and back out of it with really low boost. I don't get any surge letting off from WOT.
