thats going to be sweet too BT802, i think ill just set 600 as the goal and see what i can crank out.

cam and dod delete
headers and full exhaust
supercharger is what ive settled on
any other supporting mods i come across..

should be fun, lets see how long this trans last, may do a build on it and then if that was to break then do a swap.

afterwards i may make a dedicated "fast vehicle" to get good times and what not at the track. i never expect this big hunk of metal to go very fast quickly, but i can improve it a lot i think

what is too much to still daily? should i make a goal around 600hp or could i go crazy and do 800-1000? since its heavy at any of those power levels im sure the drivetrain will need some going through for sure, maybe more so if i go over 600hp, which i think is very achievable and reasonable.
Great question! I think I had the most fun driving my old gasser truck when it made 440rwhp (but I wanted more). Then when I had more (650-700rwhp) I drove it less and didn't enjoy it as much. My advice/opinion? For lighter vehicles 400rwhp is tough to beat and fairly easy to achieve. For a heavier vehicle I'd say right around 500-550rwhp is the sweet spot. I am referring to DD type vehicles.

Is the 09 6l80 not as strong as a 14 and up? Reason I ask is I have no idea but Allen P ran 700 with the pc before it started giving issues. It was rc tho and had a converter.

I don't know. Maybe some internal parts are a different design but maybe not.

500hp is a great all around number for a heavy truck and maybe just my preference from everything I see.
