To much boost with too much timing=

I am the man
Guess having the boost controller lock open and over boosting way past 20psi for acouple hours and then 3000 miles at 14+psi with a little to much timing can really make things look ugly. Thank God and Don and this was the only casualty.

I have a gauge. It over boosted once when my conrtoller broke. I fixed it 2 hours later. It only hit 20+ like 4 times. Since then it has never seen over 17lbs. I had it tuned in the hot summer. So once it hit the cold winter air up here the number 7 plug burnt up. Also I think that the #7 cylinder was running a little lean. I have a wideband and it is always 11:1 at wot. I guess it had just had enough. No big deal though. its up and running right now. Except it isnt me beating on it tonight

Nope. I told u guys I was the man. Don just drove it to work tonight and there was no problem. He examined the pistion and the head. A few small, tiny, surface scratches on the head that he already too care of.
