Question How much timing should I have....

ran the truck with a scanner and showed 14 degrees at wot, o kr
1-2 kr on light throttle on incline, lot's of timing when just cruising at steady speeds.
Is 14 wot ok or should it be higher. 80 degrees outside and 115 iat's.
stock 3.4 pulley and stock radix tune.
thanx

That seems a little low. I was running 18 degrees with the 3.1 pulley on the 5.3 with no KR.

I think mine runs at 17 with the same temps you described at 7.5lbs of boost... steady crusing is like 24-30 of timing...

The stock Radix calibration is set up for 16* of timing out of the box (safe). Seeing 14* at WOT means that the IAT correction table was more than likely pulling the 2* if the IATs were 130ish at WOT. Sounds about normal to me, the PCM is doing its job.

that makes sense, do the iat's seem alittle high for that ambient temp?
80 and 130 degrees
