Default how much nitrous through radix

how much could you get away with spraying through a radix? and has anyone ever had the intake plumbed for a direct port setup or not.

Here we go.......

This has been asked. Never 100% answered. First, your Radix is made of aluminum. N2O is an oxidizer. You will, over time, destroy your Radix housing and rotors. One person has already sprayed through the radix that I know of. He had no problems. I think he started at a 35 shot and moved up to 50. I would not recommend anymore than that. The cooling affect is going to be worth a bunch of power in addition to the actual N2O. I have not heard of anyone getting a direct port setup with a radix. Several others are watching to see who else is going to test the N2O/Radix combo out. I have a wet kit in the garage....waiting. BTW, if your Radix is new, and you spray, I'm pretty sure your warranty is done.

A few guys on www.corvetteforum.com have been doing it. 99z51r seems to be having great luck doing it.

I think 2toneblown sprayed a 75 shot through it. He said it felt good and made a big difference. I have thought about the whole direct port thing. If you want that much power, might as well go with a turbo.

Not sure how close the Radiux is to the Eaton, but there are a few guys on NLOC that plumbed their N20 through a supercharger spacer from Reichard Racing for the Eaton. It really cools it off and it goes directly through the intercooler instead of through the plenium and blower, on most Lightnings they are getting away with 75 pills. My buddy is runnin a N/X Wet 75 shot and has gone 11.6. 2Toneblown ran a 75 shot on his Radiux set up... that seems like forever ago......

As much as your pistons, rods and crank can handle. I wouldn't fool with anything less than a 75 shot. I was actually able to add a little timing because of the cooler air. I sprayed about 10 bottles through my Lightning without any issues went up as high as 150 shot

Sweet. Could one of you guys spray a 75 shot though your radix, video the explosion, and tell me how bad it was after the rebuild? J/K If I knew my tune was spot on I MIGHT go 75. I am thinking 50 is as high as I would go just because of the super cooling effect. I'm on a stock 6L though. If I was forged......
