how much boost

Default how much boost

what do you guys think is the max boost i can shove into my motor.

5.3 bored to a 5.7 L
8.5:1 CR Forged Pistons
Forged H-beam Rods
Balanced rotating assembly
Thunderacing Blower cam
Head and Main studs
60lb injectors
HP Tuners 2bar speed density tune
Whipple supercharger

You will probably max out the blower before the engine. What size whipple is it?

That seems like really low comp, daily driving would prob suck, unless you were always in boost. I have been through this debating on building a high boost set up on low comp..

The most glaring answer is 15lbs since that will be your limit with the 2bar setup.

Turn it max rpm and se ewhat boost it makes....... i dont think it will make 15

What size pulley?

3" pulley with the stock crank pulley should get you about 13lbs

I made 23 psi on a short block very similar to yours. Like others have said, the blower will max before you can hurt the motor if tuning is good.

Good that is what i was hoping to hear, i did not want to get bit by the boost bug and over boost what the engine can handle

Its a lot harder to do that with a blower than a turbo.
