High boost #'s
#1
I'm contemplating switching to a jackshaft blower. I want to run higher boost #'s. I'm finding myself having more fun building it then racing it. That make any sense??? It gets street driven more than anything. I'm running 14-15psi on the front inlet and have thoughts of more. I've been saying for the last 6 months that I'm done with it and will leave it alone. With more boost will come some type of failure. Should I leave it alone or go for more?

Also comes higher IAT temps. Will I be making alot more hp? Or just more boost, more heat, and alot less timing? Maybe at this stage it would be better to give it a small shot of NOS? Or stop and save the money for something lighter? It is like a sickness................I can remember the day I bought it and drove it for two weeks. I said,"just going to get a custom tune". Then exhaust....headers.....cam.....forged engine......built trans.....blower.....Oh **** when will it stop?
