Default Help me name that whistle

My truck is running awesome after the Kenne Bell install etc. The only real issue I have is, there's an incredibly annoying whistle sound coming from somewhere. It is in direct response to the throttle. I cannot hear it when I'm under the hood but can hear it while driving.

It did NOT start with the kenne bell. It has been there at least for the past year. It was suggested to me that it was electrical noise or something from the stereo. I do not think so.

If I had a leaky throttle body, would that cause a whistle?

I would check out gaskets. If it is sucking air threw a gasket(tb) that will or could whistle, also the clamps around your intake tube, filter. You sure that nobody snuk over and put a whistle tip on that pig(lol)

i had a vacuum test done last year when the turbo was on there and there was definitely a leak at the TB. I was gonna send it back to Nick Williams to fix but I don't have a spare. Now I'm kinda porked

How does the bypass valve work on a Kenne Bell? I had a loose clamp on Vortech Race Bypass valve and it made it whistle everytime I gor between 15-5 inches of vacuum.

Most open element type air intake tubes will make a squeak sound when you open the throttle to a certain position. That is part of what the stock hemholtz resonaters get rid of from the factory. Hopefully no more leaks.

hmm, well I ordered up parts to make a custom 4" intake tube. We'll see how that goes.
