How cheap is it? I wouldn't pay over 1000 on it. It's old, bracket is kinda lame, and it needs work

I would pass on it, you won’t be able to find any parts or pullies and I predict constant belt issues due to that bracket and design.

Seller got back to me and said it's gear driven internally.

I was thinking the same price wise, as well as parts.

That only eliminates 1 manufacturer, sadly

Edit: Bearings will be easy to find, its too expensive to manufacture your own, so nearly every company uses standard bearings. That pulley looks custom to me, if its a standard shaft diameter (.625, .750, .875 etc) pulleys will be easy to make work. If the gears inside arent broken, no problems there

The one problem will be seals. 1 might be standard (like an SC Procharger) and 1 will most certainly be proprietary. You might solve that with some machine work, if you happen to know a guy, but be prepared for the snow ball, scope creep effect to come in and wreak havoc on your plans

Agreed. When all is said and done it's not a significant enough savings over a "1 piece at a time" Procharger or Vortech system.

I am a procharger fan boi

I dont know your budget, but my first P1 kit cost me 2700 and my second one has cost me ~3300. I bought both units used with brackets for right around 2k and the extra cost has come from things like water to air, 8 rib, powdercoat, rebuild and conversion to D1 etc

My last kit I found on Craigslist, so dont be afraid to look around
