Having second thoughts

Hope somebody has rectified this. What I've done like others is made my own transition block to feed the supercharger from the oil boss above the oil filter. But what I did was take the feed from the rear hole and drained the oil back into the front hole like an oil cooler would. I also have an external oil filter that feeds from the oil boss to the filter then to the supercharger. I called and asked paxton why they drain there oil into the pan as I don't want to chance a leak or drill fillings in my engine, they said that it was the least restrictive as the oil drain is gravity feed. The supercharger is too low to drain it into the valve cover. So 2 questions, will my lingenfelter hi-volume oil pump be enough to force the oil through the filter and into the supercharger and will the oil drain enough to go into the engine through the first hole? By the way I already have the oil system hooked up in a loop to first test it without the supercharger and the oil comes out pretty good from the drain hose. But am unsure if the same flow is there when its draining back into the engine instead of into a pail. I want to find out before I fire it up and run the supercharger out of oil.

I don't think it can go there. I think as above it's pressurized, but at the least it will be a drain restriction. Either into the pan, the block just above the pan, or the timing cover has also been used.

Damn thats what I was afraid of any suggestion as to have the least impact of oil contamination? What to use to connect to the pan as it ain't comeing off. I thought both sides are pressurized but if so why do they have a cast block that loops the oil from one hole to the other and thats where they hook up the oil cooler lines to so how does that work of both are pressurized. I was told the rear hole is pressurized. Anyclairification is great.

the cast block is needed if you do not have an oil cooler with out it, you smoke the bearings and the engine.
The engine oil is returned to the pan from many place, around the bearings, pushrods etc.
to feed oil to a turbo or supercharger just tap into that block and run another line to the supercharger. Now to return the oil you need to drill a hole into the pan, thread install a fitting, and route your return line.

Now don't tell me that i'm the only one thats added an external oil filter.
