Default Going Old School---will it help?

Ok, I have a Silverado SS with a M112 supercharger (9 psi), cam, headers, etc.

I'm putting another motor in the truck and I'm wondering if ported or aftermarket heads will help and if so, how much? I have a line on some really nice Dart 225 Pro 1's.

I don't care about lost boost, etc. Just the bottom line, if it will help pick up some reasonable levels of power.

Anyone experimented here with a setup like mine?

they'll definitely help if the chambers are big enough... dont want to raise the compression too much with that blower.

Do you have meth or any upgrades to your i/c setup?

No, just 2.8 pulley, shorty headers, corsa sport cat back, volant cai, and GT2-3 cam. Been 12.90-13.10. Would like to be running low 12's............ Thanks for the help.

what are the complete specs on the head?? mainly chamber size...

Theres probably other ways that that amount of $$$ can be spent to get power... and probably more gains than heads alone will give you.

I believe they flow at .600 lift: I - 313 E - 214
Chamber size is 62

I'm not sure if the engine is a LQ4 or LQ9 so I may have to change some things to get the compression to an acceptable area....

If it is an SS, it is the LQ9.

no, what I meant was using the M112 blower. Now that the TVS series is out, it seems like everyone is kicking the M112 to the curb---lol!
