Going Old School---will it help?
#1
Ok, I have a Silverado SS with a M112 supercharger (9 psi), cam, headers, etc.
I'm putting another motor in the truck and I'm wondering if ported or aftermarket heads will help and if so, how much? I have a line on some really nice Dart 225 Pro 1's.
I don't care about lost boost, etc. Just the bottom line, if it will help pick up some reasonable levels of power.
Anyone experimented here with a setup like mine?

what are the complete specs on the head?? mainly chamber size...
Theres probably other ways that that amount of $$$ can be spent to get power... and probably more gains than heads alone will give you.

I believe they flow at .600 lift: I - 313 E - 214
Chamber size is 62
I'm not sure if the engine is a LQ4 or LQ9 so I may have to change some things to get the compression to an acceptable area....
