Gear ratios and forced induction

I realize that there are no "cookie cutter" gear ratios and each application will have a specific ratio, but what ratios work well for the following scenarios? I am thinking inadvance for a ecsb 2wd daily driver w occasional track use. Also will these ratios behave differently behind a 4l60 vs 4l80?
1. NA w/ h/c/i
2. Turbocharged
3. Tvs1900
4. Procharged
5. Nitrous.
Thanks for learnin' me

I think you should be a little more specificon the exact setup. Say if you went with a smaller cam that you shift at 5500 you prolly need a higher gear. But if your setup will make power up till 6500+ you could go with a lower gear. Plus factor in tire height.
Good rule of thumb is 3.42/3.73 for turbo. But that also depends on tire height and your goals.
Hope that helps some.

4.10's would prob work pretty well for all the options other than turbo. Its a really subjective question still yet. If you want low end power you will need lower gears, especially with the nitrous, procharger, and n/a applications. Could probably get away with 3.73's with the TVS, and as stated they will work better for traction with a turbo. This is for a 60e. If looking for low end on an 80e, 4.10's would help out with the taller ratio 1st and I think 2nd gears.

Can you define small cam if you already have it?
Each setup could benefit from a specific cam.
I towed alot with a rear mount 60mm and a Isky 215/215 .566/.566 114 with 30.5' tires, 80E, and 3.42s.. Couldnt ask for any more low end.
On the stock cam, LQ4, 60MM @6psi, 80E, and a 47 shot of nitrous on 16* timing AFR in the high 10s it made 475ftlb tq at 2500rpms.

like said 3.73- 4.56 depending on shift points and tranny will work w/ all but turbo. turbo is a different story. they love higher gearing. i had 4.56's when i first went turbo and it sucked bad. ran out of gear before it spooled. 3.42's are perfect for loading turbo w/ 29" tire.

I have 3.23s and i hate 'em. Forced induction isn't in the cards at the moment. However, I'd love to go FI in the future. My next mod is gears and I'd like to choose a ratio that will provide both immediate gratification as well as be appropriate for my long term goals. Turbo is the most appealing to me at the moment. Thanks for the answers.
