After looking through Byrdman's thread again, I think I'm leaning towards a BW 75/83 with a 1.10 a/r. Would I need to pick up some bigger injectors to run that turbo or would the stockers suffice for now? Also, would I be able to turn up the boost to around 12-13 psi when I take it to the strip?

You're gonna need bigger injectors.... And as long as you get it tuned for 12-13psi, I say go for it!

Got any words of wisdom in regards to a good budget brand injector? Also, you think 72# is enough for 13 psi?

72# injectors will definitely be enough for pump gas! On E85 they would be close, but I'm sure the stock fuel pump wouldn't be able to handle the load on E85 at 13psi. If you're interested in some injectors just pm me and I'll give you the number to a guy who I got my 72# injectors from... They're Bosch EV14 uscar injectors.

i agree. i am out voted lol and he actually has the 6.2 and used two different turbos.

Thanks for all the info, everybody! I think I'm beginning to develop a decent list of parts/pieces needed to make this happen. Here is the list to start with. Let me know if you see anything big that I'm missing!

BW 75/83
Trick Mani
72# injectors
46mm gate (probably pick up a used Tial)
50mm BOV (again, probably used Tial)
DIY exhaust and crossover
Tune (thinking maybe BlackBear. Haven't looked into it too much, yet.)

I think that's it for now. Do you guy's think if I keep the boost around 8 psi I can go without a meth kit? I'd like to eventually put meth on it, just looking to save some money in the beginning.

where are you located?

as for tuner get someone who knows turbos and making motors live with them

I'm in Denver. I'm sure there are some people around here that are plenty capable of tuning it, I just haven't looked into it too much, yet.
