The 14 bolt is a HP killer for sure but it's damn near bullet-proof. That's some heavy wheels. What size/model tire and rim are you running?

I used some 42lb injectors and a Magnacharger Walbro 255 kit ($140+/-) and it easily handled my P-1SC @ 10lbs. The Maggie kit comes complete and ready to install in about an hour. I'm still running it (been over 3 years) with a snow Meth kit and still have room to up the boost down the road. A Bosch 044 is a little more involved $$$ and to install but will give you even more headroom than the Walbro

Rick
For the cash I have in it, it better be damnit.
Tires are 325/65/18 nitto terra grapplers, load E 10ply tires. Wheels are 18x8.5 mb gunner 6.

If I had to do mine again I would go with a single 044 and upgraded wiring and not bother with the walbro, but my goals are a bit higher with a 408 and 6 lbs of boost.

Everyone always gets so worked up about the gear ratio. I am running a 32" tall tire and have a T-56 swap so 6th gear is a .50 ratio. So 5.13's work out to be about the same rpm in 6th as a F-body camaro running stock tire size and 4.10's. So using a simple rpm calculator you input

5.13 gear ratio 32" tall tire(305/50/20) 75mph w/.50 6th trans ratio = 2,020RPM

For comparison F-body with stock tire size and T-56

4.10 ratio 26" tall tire 75mph .50 trans ratio = 1,987rpm @75mph in 6th
