Front mount turbo kits??
#1
Does any company make a legit front mount direct fit turbo kit??? i am very impressed with the 4.8/5.3 turbo setups. i don't understand how these guys make huge power on the stock shortblocks. id love to check out a turbo kit for my 6.2 liter truck. does anyone have bolt on kits. I got a race car project going on as it is so im not looking to get crazy with custom fabbing my own kit but it would be fun someday.

Please do a search.. There are prob a thousand people on this site with LEGIT turbo front mount kits..
As for big power, once you do some home work you will see that these LS based engines can handle a ton of HP with stock internals. Cranks alone are good for 1000+

Offering kits from entry level to 1100+hp. I would like to think we are legit.

Now if you mean carb legal. Then no, at this time there are no front mount kits that are carb legal.
Ls engine are great platforms to work off of. And very easy to make 500 HP with a 5.3L with a cam, good tuning, and around 12lbs of boost.

guys thanks for the replies. by legit i meant a no BS turbo kit with issues. i seen a lot of turbo information on the site and plenty of front mount sucess. it seems most people fab there own system but i was wondering about kits. i will look everything over. im very familiar with the LS platform and there power capibilities. it seems they handle more power with turbos than procharger or spray. i lost ring landings at around 550RWHP in the past. i have a 6.2 liter on the way 2011 ec silverado.

I don't think any of the sponsors here have a 'BS kit with issues'. If you mean complete, as in tuning included, you may need to reach out to more than one of the sponsors to get the job done. If your fuel system or transmission isn't up to the task, that's not the sponsor's fault. But modifications to those parts of your vehicle are just assumed when you buy a turbo kit to start putting some power down.
