Default Flip the Radix J-tube?

Quick question. Can the MP112H Radix J-tube be flipped to the other side to run the throttle body / intake off the drivers side of engine? This would be for a non-truck application...

No, the bolt pattern won't allow it.

Is there enough meat on the blower case to re-tap?

Otherwise, someone could either weld on enough material to re-drill the holes or make an adapter bracket. Something along the lines of this style...

The shape is also wrong. It's sort of a wide D shape, so I just don't see that working at all. If you are a good aluminum fabricator, I suppose you could cut the mounting flange off the j-tube, and build your own new j-tube whatever shape & design you wish.

Thanks for the reply w/pic, AKlowriderZ71. That's a quick, concise answer to my idea/question. I guess I'll stop thinking along those lines...

Fabbed tube would be pretty sweet if youve got the capabilities...

Do you already have the Supercharger? Kenne Bell had an application where their "j-tube" came out on the driver side. I haven't seen a MP112/122 setup with a driver side induction. I would think one could easily mechine an adaptor (or fab one up) as mentioned earlier but I guess it depends on how much room you'll have to work with...
