I measured the Airaid plastic piece at 4 1/4"......your saying the silicone fit right over it? I ask because I couldn't get 4" rubber to fit over that Airaid plastic piece

fit right over. again, tight, vasoline made it work. The ID of the hose is 4", so I am sure there is some flex to the remaining 1/4". Maybe the silicone is more forgiving than the rubber. I know when buying the silicone I had a choice between rubber and silicone.

I cut holes in the tube then used black silicone rtv to seal them up. The holes where already fairly tight but I figured the rtv would help seal and probably give more of a "factory" look to the bungs. The nitrous one is the hardest as those that have nitrous knows it comes with these horribly small bungs.

no leaks on that setup?

also what did you use to hold your meth and nitrous nozzles in the tubing?

I keep forgetting you have had the priviledge of seeing the wrecked shed. I actually don't use JB that much. LOL, I did plug up a header leak with some funky high temp stuff though.

Don't forget, and big hammer and screw driver and a no-bounce mallet.

No leaks that I can tell, the meth nozzle has rubber bung that is tight. The meth nozzle has to be crammed in. The silicone goes around the edge for that "factory look" and seal. The nitrous was definitely tricky due to the size of the bung, I just made the hole to small and forced the threaded part in. Put the nut on, applied silicone and wallah. Little armor all and you'd never know.
