Thanks for the kudo's, i think i am going to take the cap off for a while and see if it feels any lighter. I have heard that the 8.1's are not recommended for more than 10-11psi even with an intercooler. I would be lying if i said i wasnt already thinking about a smaller pulley... . So how much different does 7lbs feel than 5 lbs anyway?
Look's real good! Just becarefull with the 'cast' internals. Mine started-out at 7#'s/boost @ 6000/rpm's. And now after the S/C-flash and the PCM-flash on 91/octane she's close to 9.1#'s/boost at 6000/rpm's.
Just about the limit for my 'cast' pistons.
We figure about +800/crank hp.
And close to 700/rwhp. when were all done. Two stage Water/Methanol injection system. A little mist before the S/C and one just in front of the T/B.

Thanks for the tip Quick silver. This oofy big block redlines at about 4650. Also, i started with the 5lb pulley.....i did notice after the tune (I have always ran 93/94 octane) it did bump up a hair closer to 6lbs. I think I will be fine (i hope i will at least) given the fact this truck is really only driven once or twice a week at the most. Im sorry, but i feel like a giddy little kid or something with this thing now....you would think i work for Whipple or something the way i talk up about this blower. We did max this thing out a few times and the stock fuel pump is handling it just fine so far.

Wow that looks great, should have some pretty decent results.

I'd ask your brother to lock 'em up back to back and see who beats who. You'd be bouncing his Nissan off every tree on the path!!!

My kit from Paxton came with two Walbero/Aircraft fuel pumps. It puts my fuel/presssure under boost at about 104-106/psi.don't want to lean her out!
Around town he's got me at 14.2-15.6 Air/Fuel mix. But under boost she's "pig-rich" at about 11.2-10.1 Air/Fuel.
When I get home from work I'll post a Wipple Supercharger badge for you

This company will make just about any badge you want. He sent this to me for a sample of what he could do. He would put Paxton instead of Whipple, but you get the idea.
He wants to make one for me that says "OVAL KILL" kinda-of-a-double-meaning...Hi-Oh!
