No, im going back over to the F-body place where I had the first dyno done. The guy in Mt. Airy told me why the numbers were probably lower on the first one I did at F-body. He said we need to run it in 3rd gear with tow/haul on, and start the test at 2900-3000rpm instead of the 1800 we did the first time. With this info, i should be able to get much more accurate numbers than the first time i dyno'ed there. Oh, and yes, I am/was the webmaster of that site a while ago, i just never dropped the hosting/domain name service. It comes in handy once and a while.

back on topic, your set up looks tight. Nice and clean....and on a BIG truck. Awesome. Good job so far, hope all goes well at FBody tonight! I am sure you'll keep us posted. (back off topic...what's Mt Airy's pricing for dyno services?)

It came to $79.00 total, this was not a wideband test. Just a base test on the dyno. The guys at Mt. airy were very nice and helpfull, although not as laid back as the guys at F-body. Its a little easier working with the guys at F-body in my opinion.

Good luck tonight! Hopefully I'll get a chance to swing by. Realistically, what kind of gain in HP are you hoping for @5psi? I'm thinking 335ish rwhp....with a little higher gain in TQ...say 450ish? What do you think?? I know that Allison and big rear are going to eat a bit more than us guys with the 4L60E/10bolt combo.

if i can get 75rwhp and 100rwtq i will be happy. to be honest, if this thing shows no gain at all i will be happy (maybe not..)simply because of the way it feels driving it around town....it feels VERY strong! I dont wanna get my hopes up though, i will take what i can get. see you tonight if you stop in. im going down around 5, and it will probably take a couple of hours to tune and put the wideband bung in.

Mike, are you sure you were at the right web page?....

Went and had some tuning done on the dyno tonight...............

Let me start off by saying, HOLY **** IS THE FREAKIN TRUCK SICK!!!!! I thought to myself as i was taking it in that i would be happy with improvement, but didnt think it was going to improve that much because it already felt so good. I was wrong. After i was finished tonight the truck felt so much better i couldnt believe it. There is just no replacement for dyno tuning, period. Now we didnt completely finish, i need to go back in a few days after running the truck like it is for a final dial in and dyno pull. ANyway, now for the good stuff. I know without the actual dyno sheet, it means nothing but i got to tell you what it did. He did tell me that these numbers will likely change a little as we completely dial in the tune but as for right now.....................After 3 hours on and off the dyno and over 1/2 tank of gas my best RWHP was 394 and my best RWTQ was 504. How is that for some friggin improvement? I am a happy SOB right now... .

WOW! Congrats! I'm glad it worked out for ya. I could sense a little scepticism in your "voice" earlier, but knew you were in good hands. I knew the Big Block and Boost were going to make for some big TQ numbers. Wish I could have stopped by to check it out. That is an impressive improvement at 5-6lbs of boost....to say the least.
