Default Extra injectors????

the main fallback to my truck is the fuel injection set-up- i use poppet style injectors that ARE multec II injectors but they have a unique connection so i cant upgrade them without spending spending alot of money for a custom MPFI set-up or if i could find one a marine intake manifold but they are still expensive.....

i was looking for options- methanol injection is nice but wont allow me to add that much more boost just timing and so on.

there is a turbo E30 bmw hitting over 500whp on the injectors- i dont see a problem with them @ all---

much more cost effective and has been proven to work-

but what do you guys think about them?

I have the same problem since I'm still running the stock intake on my truck, but luckily the supercharger setup that I have came with a different bonnett and an auxillary injector setup. It's a superfueler setup that a few of the supercharger kits used to come with that adds two aux injectors that come on under boost only and you can dial in how much fuel is added per pound of boost. It's basically like the system you showed but I think it would have better resolution. If you need more details, let me know. I'm going to be switching to MPFI with external injectors sooner or later though... Here's a (huge) pic:

Nope, seem to work fine probably about as good as it gets with using an aux injector setup. You definitely want to tune with a wideband O2 though. I've got two of these setups and have been meaning to unload one or both since I'm going to go to MPFI anyways. If you're interested or want more info on the setup, let me know.

Nope, no need to do that. All the extra fuel is added via the auxillary injectors. The stock fuel pressure regulator is vacuum referenced though, so it does increase 1:1 with boost (1psi boost - fuel pressure raises 1 psi also).

You could either keep the FMU or ditch it. Running the FMU would just allow you to get more flow out of the whole setup including the stock injectors. Some people argue against running an FMU because it puts more strain on the fuel pump and can cause problems with injectors if the pressure is too high. I'd have to know more about your setup to give you an opinion on whether it would be safe at 500whp.
