We do include a drill bit and tap for the pan. We added those parts several months back. Never thought of a spring tool? I will look into that.

The LS2 is a stronger factory replacement and they are pretty cheap.

Agreed... The Cloyes LS2 single roller is a hard bang for the buck to beat, otherwise they offer a Hex-adjust single roller with the C5R chain for an extra fee. Cloyes is the OEM supplier for GM by the way.

05 and newer chains should all be just like the ls2 chain. ls2's are just the first ones that got the upgraded chain.
