Default Exhaust required for a Blower?

Would a single 3" exhaust be enough on a Radix'd LQ4 with long tubes? Say up to 10lbs of boost? Would a dual 2.5" setup be of any benefit?

You could go with 3in off the headers into a 3.5 single...

There is a chart somewhere around here that shows hp/exhaust diameter. I run 3" dual to the x and then dual 2.5" out. If I were to do it again i would do a 3" dual all the way.

long tubes and the corsa exhaust should be pletty enough, really dont see any other benifits to be made.youve done pretty good in that depo.

I have 3" pacesetters into 3" magnaflow spun cats and one dual in/out 3" magnaflow. Sounds great driving normal, but once into boost sounds like a monster.

i would also go with duel 3" with an xpipe. single 3" seems prety small. if you want single go at least 3.5"

Allright, mixed opinions huh, lol. What about if I put a 3" cutout right after the y-pipe, would that make it very much more free flowing just because it won't have 5 miles of 3" tubing to flow through? If that will help, I may go from 2.5" collectors to 3" Y, 3" cutout, 18" long bullet, then the Corsa on out. Should keep down the drone with the Corsa for everyday driving, cut down on the rasp with the bullet since the cats are gone and still be a flip of a switch from totally obnoxious!

No opinions? I think that the cutout would be quite a bit less restictive just because it wouldn't have so much tubing to travel through. It's probably 10' of pipe it would be bypassing.

how about two cutouts, one on each side, right after each respective header?
