Ever wonder how long it takes a turbo to spool down after engine cutoff?

Wonder no longer
This video was taken with a hot engine. The spool down with a cold engine was significantly shorter. Anyway, I count 9-10 seconds in the video. This is a pt-76, and the engine is idling at 700 rpm.
Excuse the first false start. I was using my remote start while taking video, and it doesn't usually catch on the first try.
Hopefully the vid doesn't take too long to optimize.

I waited for the vid to optimize... doesn't seem too...
I am shopping for a new turbo for my LS6... thinking T76 S Trim on a .96 AR... thats why I am particularly interested in vids of response versus intitial RPM WOT...

It's crazy with a ballbearing turbo. My T76 spun for over a minute after I shut it down.
You can even see how long it goes just by spinning it by hand....

Wow that's pretty cool! I actually had absolutley no idea how long it took. I wonder how long mine takes? When I first got it, it wouldn't free spin at all even when I spun it by hand, it would stop spinning within the second but I'm sure that had to do with the fact the journal's were dry and not lubed up. I though there was something wrong with my turbo!
Cool stuff Chris.
