Efi Live users I need some help
#1
So as the title says i could use a little assistance with the tune. I have been battling this for a year now and am just about to give completely up and buy hp tuners if i cant get a little more help with this thing. I have tried the efi live forum several times and obviously that was no help because it sucks and is honestly no help. So heres the deal 01 5.3 isky 3x12, deka 80 injectors, factory truck rails, bosch 044. Runs and drives perfect in and out of boost but i can not get the idle afr to stay consistant. I start the thing up it idles at about 14.8 to 15.2 and gradually works its way down to 12.8 to 13.4 when it warms up. Ive tried several sets of known good injector data and nothing helps. So then i resorted to buying a base tune from what i thought was a pretty well known tuner and big name in the lsx game . That tune was no better than what i had before and they weren't much help after i bought the tune. So here i am almost a year later of trying different ideas and still in the same boat as before. Anyone willing to help me out and look at the log and tune or send me a base file they know idles properly. Im even willing to float someone a little cash. Email would be easiest for me to send the log and tune.

Not familiar with EFI, however,
After having a set of Deka 80's, they suck to tune. I never could get my idle AFR right no matter what I did.
Some tuners can get them right but most will tell you to buy an ID injector.

Ive heard of tons of people with deka 80s that love them and say they are easy to get right. But all of those people have had hp tuners. I love efi live and am familiar with it so i really dont want to switch.

i'm new to efi live too, but hp tuners had a table add/subtract fuel depending on the engine temp for easier cold startup. sounds like yours is adding just a little too much fuel once the engine is at temp.
