I'm running a single turbo on a lq9 nbs rbsb and looking for more power, what do you guys think is better between e85 and methanol ??

 

How much power?

E85 could require an all new fuel system depending on power goal, figure you need 30-40% more fuel flow at least.

 

I'm looking to get around 600-650 hp max

 

I'm set up for flex and also have meth on my lq9. At 650hp max you should be fine with meth. I made 708 rwhp on 91 + meth with a single walbro 450 on a returnless fuel system. Like FFDP said when I wanted more hp and switched to flex I had to have my fuel system completely redone. I might be the only weirdo spraying Meth on E85 but my truck is set up to run whatever gas I feel like and go. I just can't go in my higher boost settings when I have 91 in the tank.

 

Just use pump gas and meth if you want 600's.

 

thanks guys methanol it is, what meth kit it good I'm planing on using my wiper reservoir for a slick look.

 

I got a alkyl control meth kit. From what I have gathered it's the best and the only one that allows you to run 100% meth. The pump did crap out on me once and started leaking though.

 

If you decide you want more capacity I have a 7 gallon snow performance tank just sitting around. Id let it go cheap
