Well on my Ohio to South Carolina drives I do cruise around 85-90ish. I'm sure there is hints of boost in there to, but yeah she glows pretty dang good. I could see old Kyles welds thru the exh wrap lol.

My housing has a very very faint red glow if just cruising along. If your pipes and dp are glowing too you need more timing advance

When I get home i'll have to do a log of some highway driving to see where the timing is holding at. I'll post back, but I want to say I remember it stayin in the low 20s. This is around 2700-2800 at 80+mph with 3.73/locked/4l80

To any one more interested in the PTP blankets, I asked where they are made, this was e-mail to them and my response. Just like to share info like this to any one looking to buy American stuff. I decided to go on with my purchase.

Subject: Turbo Blanket

Dear PTP,

I placed a order for your blanket earlier and paid more for this product
mainly because I was on board with buying American stuff. However, I noticed
the use of "North America". As a buyer at this point, can you please tell me
where in North America this product is made? (Canada/United State/Mexico)

Thank you, Rob Melcher

Dear Robert,

Thanks for placing your order with us.

The PTP turbo blanket is designed in Austin TX USA with an American staff
and R&D team. Our marketing & sales also take place in the US.

Our factory is indeed based in Canada but all other operations are taking
place at our head office location: PTP Turbo Solutions, LLC

808 Mcphaul St.

Austin TX 78758

If you changed your mind on buying the blanket, please let us know so I can
issue a refund and ship out the product to you.

Please reply ASAP before we ship the product today.

Thanks,

PTP Turbo Blankets

Low load timing should be at the top of 30s or 40s

**** my timing is 37-39 cruising on my ls1 n/a. When my turbo truck was still running it was set a 8° in boost and i want to say around 15-18 cruising. I had everything wrapped good but it still melted a bunch of wire loom and crap that was close to the pipes. I dumped that homemade kit before i had a 1000 miles on it!
