Is there proof that those gay laws are making Ca less cancerous then the other 49 states?

I have no plans to trade my colorado. Aside from the sentimental value of it being my first truck paid for on my own dime. I'd also have to go with an automatic tranny for a 5.3 colorado. And automatics suck. These days i'm more tempted to just leave this terrible state.

swapping wont be an issue if the 5.3 colorado is produced.

How is it a skewed view of the law? The law is the law. When you swap it, you get a new door jam sticker so it would be smogged as a silverado SS.

I have an automatic 3.7 colorado work truck, and i cant stand to drive that thing in my off time, automatics just suck to drive around town.

Since your year colorado did not have the 5.3L option you would not be able to cover yours under the revision.

Go ahead and swap it, please let me know when you go to the smog station I would like to be there. Dude I am not trying to be argumentative, I am only trying to save you the ****** headache you are setting yourself up for. If you do not like Cali, don't let the door hit you in the *** one the way over state line. We could use some more room here.

and FYI, Global warming is just the earths natural cycle.....I am not a believer either. And I never said the emissions caused cancer (although there is lab proof of that) I just said the air was not so dirty you could chew it.

I didn't call anybody out.I merely made a statement that I still stand by.
To your idea about carb sticker on cold air intake systems. The one's you happen to mention are also installed after the maf.Which I believe I said you can do anything before the maf and after the rear O2's.
I also consider computer recalibration something between the maf and 02's.

LOL!, door hit me on the ***?? dude stop playing it off like this state is great. I've lived her for all of my life...went into NV for a total of 5 days and thought "wow, my state sucks hard"

And NV isnt all that nice...rather desolate.

smog station?? Are you still in school for your smog stuff? After someone does a swap the very next step is to a smog referee so they can check to make sure all the smog equipment is in place and that the engine is not from a stolen vehicle.

Then they issue the door sticker and your engine is smogged as the vehicle that the engine came from and then i can go to a smog station.

I looked into this awhile ago with my old jeep. It is a bitch...an unnessecary bitch(thank you dirty hippies), but its not a nightmare. Especially when i plan to talk to the referee beforehand and pay a shop to deal with the headache of the swap.(whenever the 3.5 eventually dies)

and is that the same "proof" as second hand smoke and cancer?

and the air is so bad that you choke on it in other non smog areas?? I'm certainly not saying we should do away with emission systems and all forms of testing. I just want the retards who cant balance a state budget to keep their retarded hands and eyes away from my engine. It should just be tailpipe tests.

How many people really modify their cars in ways that affect the emissions? Its so low that i think CARB itself is a big waste of money.

Yeah I am still in smog school I am very aware of the referee station, and the process to go through the inspection. Quit talkin about it and do it, I am anxious to see the results.
