Well, I'm going to move my waste ref line to the other side of the throttle blade. I think, when the throttle closes and the waste gate "sees" vac, it opens befoe the BOV.

Cool

Vacuum should close the wastegate not open it. Boost pressure is used to open the wastegate and bypass the turbine so that boost at the intake manifold is controlled to a pre set maximum. I think if anything that any vacuum will close the wastegate.
I do have my boost reference for the wastegate run off the compressor scroll so mine may work a little differently than yours does because my wastegate will never see any vacuum.

There is one other thing to consider; If for some reason there is a problem with the wastegate such as it sticks and won't open or one of the vac lines is blocked (that happens with remote mounts in cold climates) the boost will just climb until one of the 2 happen.

Worst case; A video of parts of your engine coming out of the hood or fenders gets posted on the internet.

Best case; Your blow off valve opens and doesnt allow the pressure any higher than its setting that should be a safe setting depending on your application.

Its a cheap way to buy a safety fuse to prevent a problem like that.
