Default d1sc question

okay, i ordered my kit and i was told that the 44# injectors would be good for what i was trying to do, and that the 04sss does not need a fuel pump upgrade. this does not sound right to me.what do you guys think?
future mods may be a cam. should i just get a walbro 255 any way?

If you are switching to the 44's you should also up the pump?? Unless they are giving you the fuel ref kit with the kit.. How many psi do you plan to run with it??? At a minimum put a 255 on the rail. All though with the truck being a 6.0, if you decide to turn up the boost down the road, you might even have to up the injectors

not sure on boost levels. i was hopeing to get at max 8-10 psi here in colorado, not sure if anymore than that would be safe on a stock bottom end. i was also told the first 3# of psi is basicly obsolete at this altitude.
any ideas?

Mangled is right, with the 6.0, if you plan to run at that boost level you should just go to 60# injectors. A fuel pump will be a must also, and you might as well go for the bosch 044.

If it was me I would do 60lbs. inj. 3.8 pulley to make for the Altitude, and a dual-pump intank kit from Lonnies Perf. better to be safe than sorry.
