My 60E let go after I upped the boost from 6 to 8 psi. Methanol as Stoichy said is your next smart move.

Lalalala can't hear you, what? lol.

So mainly the methanol will be used for cooling the iat's? And should my truck really be running that rich pegging my wideband? Thanks

Methanol's main purpose is to boost the octane rating in order to prevent detonation, you mix it with water and that will help with lowering your IAT, or you can inject straight water and that alone would lower your IAT's.

11.5:1 is a good number to shoot for.

Any clues as to what I sould do next running 10psi?
Thanks Thomas
My tranny should still be alive, somhow i messed up installing my shift kit oh well now i have a new one. I like strait meth over the mix. I noticed a power difference over mixing

Straight meth will cool some as well. Seems to make quite a big difference in my IATs with it on or off. If it comes in with low boost and I hold it a while it actually drops the IATs. Under WOT it seems to hold for a while and I see about a 30* increase over a 1/4 mile run. With it off I think I might see a 60* increase in IATs on the lower boost setting, Might not cool as much as water but it does cool as well as increasing the octane rating of the fuel mix.

Glad to see you have turned up the boost. Shoot for 11.5 afr, you are most likly under 10.0's if your guage's lowest reading is 10.0. I used full Meth as well, I loved that stuff.. Good luck bro.

My boost controller is fixed. Used a spring out of a ink pen that is not as stiff. Adjusted it and holds right at 10psi without spiking
