Just to bump this, what was the outcome? Also what pushrods were in this motor? Pushrod deflection could have led to the instable valvetrain, esp on the exhaust valve under boost.

That was the last time I drove the truck. I got all the parts to fix it, and got busy building a new shop. This shop will have plenty of room to fix it soon. 36x56 14 foot ceilings. I ended up sending heads to TSP and had the same port job with new valves. I had originally got hardened pushrods when I did the cam kit from TSP years ago. I'm not sure what brand they are. I have to assume the valve floated and broke of. My lift was high, and I was using 1.75 ratio rockers to increase the lift, so I assume that and turning it too high caused them to float. I did learn from an engine guy I know that if the retainer is stuck on the keepers, and the keepers are shiny at all, you have too low of a seat pressure. Anyways, the new setup will have stock rockers with the Trunion upgrade and one of those fancy cams from Jarrett to make this thinge really run.

I feel bad about not getting the truck done, but the shop makes me feel good. Here's a pic when it was cleaner. Now it is insulated.
