Is there any place for us front mount turbo guys to buy just a left side manifold. the main reason i want to change it is cause the factory one looks bad. but it still has to bolt up to the cross over pipe.

 

Factory one? Dealer, classified section here, other forums, craigslist, etc...

I sandblasted my stock manifold and it came out nice. I would stay away from one header as the steel is thin, and you have a pretty good chance in cracking it.

I built one of these once

 

Take off the heat shield and grind the mounting bosses off...smooth it up and have it ceramic coated. Foose04 used to run the shorty header on the drivers side but after it broke he went back to a stock manifold.
