Just stick with what you have, trust me it can get a lot more out of hand than it already is.

when i bought the truck I was just going to put the turbo on it and drive the hell out of it but i noticed some smoke (either bad valve guides or seals) so figured I'd just do the heads now here it is I have a 2nd engine inspecting the internals.......

had no intentions of building a 2nd truck, I still have my 87 383 stroker that's forged, splayed, studs & etc. I had that engine out and redone haven't even ran it still needs a tune that was suppose to be my "fast" truck

So when you "turn it down" you'll just be running the lower boost pressures under 11 psi where meth isn't needed. Hope that makes sense
This is dead on!

Hone it up and use a 4.005 forged piston and forged rod. Keep the stock crank. Good for 1000hp.

Pick your company; weisco, diamond, je, etc. for pistons. Callies for rods. Expect $700-$800 for each set.

If your block is good at stock bore you could just buy my pistons and rods so I can get the over sized ones I need. Wiseco custom junk yard dogs and callies 6.100 rods. I had them made to stick .002 out of the hole with 6.100 rod.
