I know this is late to the party, but mine really hasn't been that bad. With the stock/included pulleys and whatever it was perfectly fine and easy. It got harder when I wanted to do an 8 rib conversion and have fancy idler pulleys on all that. But as far as the whipple itself being difficult that's not true.
TVS vs Whipple, I really doubt you could do a blind test and tell a difference. Ive had both and they both come online faster than you know what to do with.

I don't plan on monkeying with anything. I'll just drive the **** out of it.

Only issue so far is forgetting its there when I'm stopped. If I abruptly hit the gas needing to go (like at a light after not paying attention) it lights the tires up lol. Enjoying it a lot so far and brake stall increased to ~3000 from 2500 in the same weather. Going to the track on Sunday it looks like but gotta post something in tuning to improve shift to 2nd.
