Boost Creep
#1
My creeping problem will never enddd. I put my 3# spring in today along w/ my new gauges. I did a wot run for about 3 or 4 seconds and it was at 10# so i backed out. What in the hell would make me have a 7# creep? We haven't double checked the gauge yet, but i was still experiencing 4#+ creeps before w/ my 5.8# spring and old gauge. I'm pissed!
Edit. My wideband was reading a steady 14.8-15.0 at wot, i thought this was way lean, but the instructions say 14.7 is good?
Here's a pic of my wastegate location.

Your waste gate is NOT hooked up right in that pic! Your vac/pressure line need to be connected to the port on the side of the WG not the top. There should be nothing on that top port. The way that is hooked up, boost pressure is holding the gate SHUT. That is also WAY too lean for being in boost. are you sure about what it was reading? When driving around, it should be reading in the 14.7 range, but as soon as you start to get into boost it should drop down to the 11.5 range to be safe. Running that lean in boost will break your toy FAST!!

That top port was a vent, now it's connected to my boost controller. hmm, so is this my tuner's fault? Yes, i did 3 WOT runs, that was what it read. Its still in the green stioch range when it reads this too.

i just put the controller on last week.
Its a turbonetics manual controller from summit. I'll take a look at it tomorrow. You think maybe my wastegate is not fully opening??
