Your G80 will most likely the first thing to go "Kablouwwee" on you. They don't last long around here!

Stock block with good tuning can handle quite a bit of boost (14-16lbs), but unless your the tuner and can keep an eye on it on a daily/weekly basis I would say 8-10 lbs would be the most you should go, even then depending on where you live (altitude and seasons) it might be safer to stay in the 6-8lb range.

yea thats what i kinda figured...i wastn really planning on runnin anymore than 10lbs bc i still want to dd it. i live in south florida so im right at sea level, not sure what difference that makes tho...

one other question, the kit i bought came with a t3/t4 turbo...supposedly its a hyprid turbo "It uses the turbine from a T3 turbo and the compressor housing from a T4 turbo." anybody every used/heard of this setup?

Ebay Hybrid? I think the technical name is "junk"

Even if it is some other form of a turbo its still too small in single mount applications.Try one of those Masterpower T70's through "KBracing" hes a member that can get you pointed in a better direction.

Oh yeah I was cammed at 103000 mi. Boosted by 111000.Lifted the heads and blew the head gaskets out at 122000.That incident was all my fault pullied down without changing the tune.Or in other words expirementing.....

yea thats what im thinking. ill probably just get quality turbo later on, but why do you say its too small? im not trying to build a 1000+hp monster lol, id be happy with about 100hp gain. isnt 5-8psi the same whether its coming from a small turbo or a big one? please correct me if im wrong bc i want to learn.
