Default Big HP guys come on in (700whp+)

Guys making big HP numbers. Is there any benefit to removing the coolant steam plugs from the back of the heads and run the early 4x corner design. Pros/cons/thoughts

I'm sure there would be benefit to cooling. With stock intake manifolds those holes tend to run the leanest anyway, so anything you can do to aid cooling is not a bad idea.

I would think any extra cooling of the head would be better.

The biggest benefit from it is it will remove a steam pocket if there is one. I always run all 4, my 6.0l makes north of 1000rwhp.

On a friends LSX deal, all 4 corners are ran aswell. 2500rwhp+

I also have friends that only run the front 2 on 1000rwhp rides with success, however its one of those things, its pretty cheap to do it and it will not hurt anything.

Leanest or hottest? I know they do run leanest on single nozzle and plate nitrous kits (on oem style intakes)

Pretty much a crap shoot. Only true way is 8 O2s to see where the lean holes are for certain, but yes historically you are correct.. On a stock ECU deal you can really only move injectors around(if they have been flowed) to cheat it as you cant do individual cylinder fueling like a holley setup, as an example.
