Default which belt slips the least?

my engine bay is covered in belt dust. i never had this problem until after i installed the metco 100mm pulleys and switched to a 111" belt from my previous 110.5" but i could NOT get that one back on. i havn't really been driving the truck much lately, so i never thought about this problem too much. now race season is coming up quickly for me. i'll have a very limited timeframe to make it to the track and i want to put down some good numbers. need some suggestions on eliminating this problem. also, please vote for your favorite belt that slips the least.

maybe possibly your belt is too small. I have the same setup as you and I do have dust, but not everywhere. When I lost my belt at the track and Bryan(Breeze) helped...errr put it back on for me he even noted it was way to small. Just a thought.

I didn't vote, as I have never changed between them and noted any differences.

I voted Gatorback. I am running 2.9 pulley, recently added the 100 Metco's but went a long time with the stockers, and the original 112.5 belt length. I have minimal if any belt slip. I have never seen dropped boost via the gauge. I have noticed a little dust on the pullies and blower snout bracket. I have noticed that there is a little more dust when I put a new belt on but lessens after a little break in. I've had to replace the belt a couple times when its jumped off, damaging the belt and breaking the idler arm.

I run a gates 112.5" belt and don't have any issues with a 3.1 pulley

Gatorback
Gates Green Stripe (they seem to get sticky when hot)
Dacco Poly Cog

Are my preferences in order.

Holty I allway's notice more belt dust with a new belt As Kysilverado stated above. I run a gate's belt's but I'm not saying it's better then the other's.

My gatorback will "chunk" a little for the first 100 miles or so and then there is no sign of belt wear. The stocker (radix kit) was bad. I would have enough dust to actually pinch off the alternator bracket. The gatorbacks have been great for me.

2.8 pulley, metco 100mm idlers, and a 110.5 inch Gatorback belt. I still get belt dust. Runs at about 8.5 psi max on my boost gauge.

I prefer the Gates; on the Lightnings the Gatorbacks seemed to have more slip issues as they have less surface area. It was a hot topic, but the Gates never slipped up to 22 psi on mine.
