I prefer a Gatorback but have been running a Dayco Poly Cog. It likes to jump the pulley on a quick blip of the gas. Been through about 5 tensioner so far.
I think I will find a Gatorback this weekend and put it on.

We are running the stock size belt in the gates brand and are still on the original belt and no dust or slippage nor do we have any trouble with it coming off. We are running 8psi and 6600 rpm and all this truck gets is raped.

im using a gates and get a bit of slippage when i come off throttle quickly from wot. i have not tried a gator back yet but i plan on getting a reichard pulley so i think i will stick with gates because the pulley should make up for slippage and the gates has more surface area .

a reichard pulley is made by reichard racing it is a pulley that has groves in it for more grip supposodly works great but causes the belt to wear a little faster , its worth it imo to kill belt slip or at least reduce it alot. here is a pic of it

here is a link

reichard racing
