Default Anyone with Alky Inj. Come in

Should have specified in title, its a Alky Control Kit. Ok, I have my kit all hooked up with the exception of the MAP sensor. The MAP sensor wiring has a green wire that goes to the PAC module, and a Red(+) and a Black(-) I want to clarify that the + goes to a key hot source. It would be nice if I could run it to the distribution block where the fuse is but I believe that is only going to be hot when the controller powers it. Also when hitting the test button is it normal that the light never goes green? Mine just stays red, it sprays and the spray output will change if the move the dial when holding test. I am assuming test just uses lower pressure.

As long as your distribution block gets powered when the engine is running, you should be ok. The light going green means that the output pressure at the pump is 50psi+. When you press test if it stays red, its just not hitting that pressure. If the gain is up high enough, you should hit green after you get into high boost. It needs to be green for meth best atomization.

Gotcha, ok so which is the gain? The **** on the main box or the adjustment on the PAC controller. If I understand correctly, the one adjustment is the turn on PSI and the other is how fast it ramps up. Then you have the main level on the controller. Am I correct? I haven't drove it yet as the weather is **** right now. I just did the water test to check for leaks, I didnt expect the LED to go green on the test but I was just making sure. If I understand correctly it should go green pretty fast once I am in boost after I pass the turn on point which is still at the default 4psi.

When I set the main at level 1 or 2 and press test it hardly sprays at all, once I turn it up it really starts spraying. For ref. I am running one 15 nozzle.

The gain is the **** on the controller that you mount in your cab with the led. The adjustment in the big box is for the initial turn on of the kit. (just finished up mine today lol)

Gain on the small box controls the ramp rate. The smaller dials on the bigger box are initial pressure, the pressure where the kit begins spraying at, and the turn on pressure is the amount of boost needed to trigger the kit.

Well I took it for a drive real quick today between storms and it seems to be working as advertised. LED is going red then green and its really rich, gain is only on 4 at the moment. What I am wondering about is after my short drive, with just a few boosted pulls and came home and for the hell of it pulled off my air filter to look in my inlet pipe and there was a small puddle of meth that hadn't been sucked in. I would guess maybe 3 tablespoons, most likely from getting into and letting out all at once. Should I be concerned about this?

How long does it stay red? You might want to turn the initial pressure setting up a bit.

I am not sure, didnt do a full power pull. I just rolled into it. Didnt seem like it went green till boost was at least 7-8psi if I were to guess. Maybe it will mist better at higher pressure. Initial pressure is the one on the same box as the turn on pressure right? Not the gain.

If you roll into it or stay low boost like that, the pump will not build enough pressure. It's a progressive kit, so it will just dribble out and puddle if the initial pressure settings aren't high enough. And yeah, turn on pressure and initial pressure are on the big box.

Or if you dont have solenoids it could be pulling some out of the nozzles in vaccum. pretty sure this happens to mine.
