and no, no company comes with that hourly rate, just my sweet face, dont think you could quite afford hers..
edit: didnt see you mentioned the flywheel tool, but thats for sissys anyway..
I'd rather her sweet face. I can afford her to to go for a ride ... on my HD of course.

Roger, u replied yep to what could be 2 things.
A wiseguy eh?

Time to go to bed & start fresh, not at the end of the day, after work & when daylight is fading.

And, air tools tomorrow.

For getting the pulley off, use my method. It's so simple. My 8 year old crank bolt came off in 2 seconds with that 25" bar.

this tool is the only way i go from now on with those things. you can reach hard to get ones slip it on, squeeze and it stays locked at that position. well worth the money if you do these somewhat often

Now, where'd that pic go?

It just disappeared since I started this thread?

schino, which tool is the 1 you like that stays locked? The lower ,cause there are tools in pic. Who makes the bottom 1, cause the top looks be be KD tools.

He had a pic of how he wrapped it, but IDK if i need the old fan hub on cause I took off water pump already.

Joe, I'm starting on this in 15 min.

sorry about the missed call Tom. I have a policy, I don't answer phone calls on #s I don't recognize....I just get way too many. Now....you did wake me up for this crap, but I needed to get my lazy butt out of bed anyways.

As for the picture, I have no clue where it went. But I do know that Imageshack does weird things some time.

You don't need the water pump on. Just wrap the belt, it's more trial and error than anything. It took me about 5 minutes to learn to wrap it properly but then it was fine. DirtTrackRacer81 is the one I learned this from.

Oh I see how it is.
Sorry to wake u, I figured you're only an hour behind me, so I hoped I was the 1 who woke up late. Anyway, now I see it. You wrapped it round that idler near alt., then it wraps around the harmonic, & onto itself. Thus, creating a "friction hold" of sorts. I gotta get started, but I appreciate appreciate pic. Give me a shout if ya like.
I at least wanna get it off & the timing cover, then I'll feel like I'm gettin somewhere.

Actually, once I'm 1/2 way thru the job, then I'll feel better, cause then all I gotta do is reverse the procedure. Along w/. hoping balancer goes back on smooth, & pin crank.

Thanks for all the help guys.

I can promise you it's not one of my pictures, but I suppose when all else fails if you have a super stubborn crank bolt you could always resort to this. A chain attached to the frame rail.......LOL

I suppose that works too. What's the story on the "air hold"?

Can I remove all the spark plugs at once, or will that not work? Cause I'd like to go that route (all plugs out), then move cylinder to cylinder w/. the "air hold" method, doing ea. spring setup.

I just need that 14mm 3/4" reach that u told me of & some kind of adapter to connect to compressed air.

I'm sure I'll be callin ya today & buggin you.

I owe ya one, my friend.
